Having worked personally on development and career strategies with over 15,000 people in global corporations, universities, non-profits and in private practice, she brings a formidable set of strategies and perspectives all aimed at one purpose: "to get you where you want to go, in a way that helps you grow."
Nettie has held a leading role in establishing development initiatives and programs for over 100 organizations in the US, Europe and Asia.
Recognized as a dynamic program designer and facilitator, she has conducted over 1200 day-long seminars at all levels of the workforce, from the C-suite to the factory floor,
Her book, Coaching Development, Careers & Performance, co-authored with Dr. Gerald M. Sturman, has been in use in corporations internationally since 2000.
As VP of Training & Development for The Career Development Team, Inc., she spearheaded large-scale customizations, training HR professionals for licensed delivery reaching well over 250,000 employees in corporations such as AT&T, Baxter, Bayer, Colgate-Palmolive, Discover, Dow, Eileen Fisher, Estee Lauder, Federal Reserve Bank of NY, Gillette, Hershey, Hewitt, Japan Management Association, The Mathworks, Merrill Lynch, Motorola, Northwestern University, Southco, The New York Times, Pennsylvania Power & Light, Pioneer Natural Resources, State Street, Time, Inc., Toshiba, United Airlines, US Army, and many others.
She has co-authored career assessment software used internationally, and was a key contributor to a project that was a Finalist for SHRM's Global Human Capital Award in Strategic Leadership for "Strengthening Our Development Culture" initiative, 2008.
Nettie also holds two ordinations: one in Interfaith Ministry from the two-year program of the New Seminary in NY, 2004, and, in 2008, as a spiritual healer and minister through the interfaith organization, Celebrating Life Ministries, following six years of study with Rev. Ron Roth, Ph.D.
She says: "I've spent my life helping people answer the question: 'Who am I and where am I going?' Whether it is in the domain of career, executive development or spiritual development, it's all the same question. I meet people where they are, and help them get where they want to go."
